Since I am "on hold" with my Domino Server 8.5.1 upgrades, I figured that I would invest some time in to getting the Notes 8.5.1 client installs properly defined, built and tested.
Enter the InstallShield Tuner for Lotus Notes.
Now, I have wrestled with the InstallShield Tuner Beastie before, and gave up on it on more than one occasion. I was always more than a tad frustrated at not being able to get it to do what I wanted it to do, in a quick and easy fashion.
However, thanks to Andy's very informative guide, (PDF available here), I have finally managed to get to grips with MSI and ITW files. In fact, so excellent is Andy's guide, I managed to get a fully customised installation of the Notes 8.5.1 client built and deployed (to a test VM) in a little less than 30 minutes Today.
