Everyone who entered the Race for Life event in Glasgow today was a winner.

However, I am ever so slightly biased in my understanding of winning, as I think that the three brave individuals in the photo above are the true winners of the day. This is Team Docherty. On the left is my daughter, Mum is in the middle, and my wee sister is on the right. Thanks to their efforts, and your generosity, we will beat cancer.

We're now creeping towards the £600 mark, and I am very, very impressed (and chuffed to bits too) at the amount of money you have donated to Team Docherty's cause thus far.

Let's see if we can have one final push during this week and next, (the race is on 07 June 2009), and break past the £600 sponsorship barrier. Remember, it's all in aid of Cancer Research UK.

I popped my iMax cherry this evening, watching this.

Holy Cr@p . . . it was f**king awesome!

Pine, Quinto & (especially) Urban absolutely nail their characterisations of Kirk, Spock & McCoy. If you get the chance, go see this movie at an iMax screening. If you can't make it to an iMax screening, go see it anyway! I think Gene would be proud.

Can I please ask for your help? My Mother, Sister & Daughter are taking part in the Cancer Research UK Race for Life event in Glasgow on 07 June 2009. Can I please ask that you sponsor them for as little or as much as you can afford?
